Portfolio Accountant

Longmires is a family run accounting practice that provides an outsource finance function to over 300 businesses. We are based in Timperley Village and have a team of 10 who currently work from the Timperley and Littlemoss offices.

With a passion for helping businesses in the Altrincham, Trafford and South Manchester area Longmires are a small team of Strategic Accountants and Business Development Managers. With over 20 years experience in all areas of accounting in various industriesincluding Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Property Management and Franchise.

Main Duties:

- Management of High Profile Client Portfolio
- Tenancy ledger reconciliation and reporting to landlords
- Working with various sites for a client and ensuring all expenditure is coded to the correct site
- Bank Reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Management Accounts
- Sales and Purchase Ledger for some clients
- Debtors review with clients
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Monthly/Quarterly meetings with Clients
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Annual Statutory Accounts
- Self Assessments
- Have attention to detail
- Experience in managing/supporting staff
- Be able to work to extremely tight deadlines
- Worked with various accounting software such as Xero; Sage; QuickBooks
- Range of experience within various industries
