Search Consultancy is working with a high growth financial services business based in the midlands that require a Senior Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract. Given continuous growth plans this role will likely extend or go permanent forthe right professional. The role will manage and oversee the production, analysis and reporting of high quality statutory, regulatory and group reporting.

**The Role**
As the Senior Financial Accountant you will ensure that all relevant teams prepare financial data under relevant reporting standards and business reporting requirements are met for both regional and group teams. Duties will include a wide range of financialand technical accounting:

- Manage and oversee consolidated reporting to the group along with commentary and analysis for presentation to senior management.
- Delivery of high quality and timely management information under IFRS.
- Lead on relevant reporting standards, business reporting requirements and local controls.
- Ensure the teams have a high level of accountancy knowledge and understanding of multiple different reporting changes such as IFRS, Solvency II etc
- Provide accountancy input into the development of new accounting business processes through automation
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the group as well as external audit
- Lead and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage and develop a small team

As the successful Senior Financial Accountant you will have/be:

- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
- Significant experience of finance operational and reporting processes
- Strong technical skills with working experience of improving operational and financial reporting processes within a highly regulated industry
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to manage and develop a small team of qualified accountants

**The Benefits Package**
The following benefits package is available to the successful Senior Financial Accountant:

- £65000-£70000 plus up to 30% bonus on a fixed term contract
