- Bracknell / Hybrid - £32,000 + 10% Bonus + CIPS Study Support**

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with an International, market leading business based in Bracknell, Berkshire who are recruiting for a Buyer to join their team.

As a Buyer, you will be working within a highly skilled and supportive team and the business also offers fantastic development opportunities through internal training and CIPS.

**Buyer Responsibilities**:

- Utilise the purchase plan to identify suitable suppliers and place purchase orders in line with key KPI’s
- Engage with Supply planning to optimise point of purchase opportunities where supply routes offer additional commercial benefits
- Ensure all customer backorders and same day P.O. requests are placed within the Inventory Planning SLA
- Overseeing the placement of project and complex customer inventory to initial customer requirements providing a just in time delivery service
- Assure a high level of availability of the companies most profitable and important products maintaining an always in stock position and addressing stock outs and low on hand inventory
- Manage the company In/Out process to ensure orders are placed on time and correctly
- Supervise the company Direct Ship process ensuring that orders are placed on the supplier with correct customer delivery details and costs associated
- Engage with sales colleagues and be part of forecast conversations both with vendors and customers.
- Analyse the forecast and inventory health and make suitable decision prior to PO placement.
- Analyse slow moving and aged allocated inventory and flag it up with sales management

**Hours of work** - 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

**Key Requirements and Preferences**:

- Strong knowledge and experience within an inventory management function such as, Supply planning and Inventory Control/Planning
- Established credentials of working with high SKU counts, multiple suppliers and customers across many countries
- Experience in dealing with outputs from ERP/ MRP systems such as JDA or SAP would be an advantage
- Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables / Vlookups)
