Care Assistant

Macklin Care Homes are currently recruiting Care Assistants to join their friendly, caring and progressive Ratheane Care Home. This is a vital role within the Home, working as a team to deliver excellent care to much loved residents.

To assist the nursing staff in providing care on an individual basis appropriate to the social, emotional and physical needs of the patient, in line with the Patient Charter of Rights, and under the Nursing Home Minimum Standards.

**Due to the shift patterns available all applicants are required to be aged 18+ (11 hour shifts)**

**About The Role**

**Reporting: Senior Care Assistant / Staff Nurse**

**Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred care to all residents
- Enriching the lives of residents through the organisation and delivery of activities
- Updating and maintaining records in line with patient care
- Supporting the nursing team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Caring nature
- Excellent communication skills, specifically with the elderly
- Committed to consistently delivering a high standard of care

**Salary**

£9.75 - £11.75 per hour
