**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent

**Location**: West London - Ealing

**Working Hours**: 20-40 Hours per week - plus overtime ( Negotiable )
- 4 Days ON 3 Days OFF
- May need to travel internationally on occasions

**Salary**: £12 - £15 per hour

**Your Role and Duties - Removals Driver/Porter**:

- You will provide an efficient and comprehensive portering service
- You will at all times follow the health and safety guidelines
- You will have excellent communication with your team and with customers
- Ensure uniform is worn at all times, in a neat and tidy manner
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times
- As part of our qualified and uniformed staff, you will help load the clients items before transporting them and offloading to their new location
- The role will include using tools for any dismantling and reassembling of the clients household items if requested
- Ensure the security of the customers belongings
- Carry out the packing of the customers household items, using the correct materials
- You will be required to help assist your colleagues with heavy lifting, carrying and manoeuvring of furniture items, avoiding damage to the items and to yourself
- You will be required to use tools and equipment such as trolleys, dolly skates, straps and ropes, screwdrivers and spanners, keeping safety in mind at all times
- Look after and keep the cleanliness of company vans and equipment
- Carry out disposals of household items to take to the disposal centre or charities
- On occasions you will be required to take trips abroad for the international bookings, completing the same high level of service there as you would here
- Will be required to work some weekends

**Person Specification**:

- Good English speaker and must be literate
- Clear and precise communication skills
- Must be client and customer focused
- Will have an organised and hard working manner
- Will have great customer care
- Must have a great work ethic and service delivery
- Have the ability to multitask
- Must be able to understand and follow the agreed systems and procedures
- Healthy and fit
- Relevant experience in the same or similar field of work is preferred but not essential as full training is provided

**Essential Requirements**:

- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK drivers licence
- Due to the role being customer facing, you will be required to complete a DBS check
- Flexibility is of high importance

**Things you need to know**:

- You may be required to occasionally work late evenings
- You may be required to occasionally work weekends
- Some shifts vary from 4 hours - 14 hour shifts
