We are currently looking for a **Baby Room Leader** at **Maisie Days Ltd T/A The Nursery) **based in **Aston, Sheffield.**

**As Toddler Room Leader, you must have**:

- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
- Excellent working knowledge of EYFS
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding
- Leadership experience within a nursery setting
- Paediatric First Aid Training (desirable but training can be provided)

**What will you be doing?**
- Be responsible for the smooth running of the Baby Room with children aged 0 - 2.
- Supporting the Nursery Manager in the leadership and development of a team of childcare practitioners.
- Communicating and building excellent working relationships with parents to encourage involvement in nursery life.
- Be responsible for completing weekly planning and carrying out activities with the children ensuring that each child's needs are met.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.

The position is full time; working 38 hours per week, all year round.

Experience in a child care setting is essential and applicants should be enthusiastic, passionate, hardworking, well presented and should work well within a team.

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 2 years (required)
- Management or Leadership: 2 years (preferred)

**Salary**: From £10.60 per hour
