**Senior EMEA Strategic Finance Analyst**

**12 month FTC**

**Up to 67,000**

**Location: Hybrid based in Hatfield**

**Key skills: Must have Pharmaceutical experience, ACCA OR CIMA OR ACA qualified,**

**Main purpose of the job**:
To provide support to the Business Partner EMEA BG & Strategic Alliances in delivering accurate and robust sales forecast to the business and high-quality financial support to the Strategic collaboration alliances in EMEA
- **Value custodian** for the company assets, providing a strong gatekeeping service for financial reporting and cost control.
- **Value add business partnering**: Providing a quality financial support service to the BU heads commercial and Exec teams, driving effective and efficient decision making. Provide a robust and insightful financial analysis service to the commercialorganisation to drive achievement of the financial targets for the region.

**Main duties/responsibilities**:

- Support in all Budget and Forecast preparations of the BUs together with BU management teams and according to FP&A guidelines.
- Take a lead role in performance reporting and critical analysis of Gross to net on revenue across EMEA.
- Generate and issue sales and volume by indication to all stakeholders (Budget/Forecast/Actual)
- Monitor risk by providing risk analysis around launch timing and pricing
- Provide medium term sales and margin forecast to FP&A, CFO as required
- Support in the development of robust sales forecasts and BP from Epidemiology to net sales.
- Partner with the EMEA FP&A and financial accounting teams.
- Financial analysis of Collaboration profit share.
- Analyse financial data related to collaboration and liaison with internal finance.
- Development of financial guidelines and process control framework for all collaborations supporting Jsox and all audit requirements
- Improve and establish systems for the evolving collaborations.
- Follow up individual deviations from Plan and propose corrective actions where needed.
- Partner the BU and/or BD teams in potential BU related acquisitions or partnership discussions.

**Qualifications and education required**:

- Demonstrated experience as an accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, interpretation, and evaluation.
- Experience of supporting commercial operations.
- Able to handle high volumes of data to analyse and report with a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding of multi-currency consolidations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Able to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Evidenced experience of adding value and proactively driving improvements in a matrix organisation.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry desirable particularly relating to IMS reporting and Epidemiology.
