**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Systems Team as a Clinical Systems Support Administrator. The team provides support and development for clinical systems supporting specialties including Cardiology, Diabetes, Theatres, Maternity and Respiratory Medicine.

As an integral part of the Clinical Systems team you will provide support and guidance to system users to help resolve system queries and incidents for a number of IT systems.

You will play a key role in supporting the System Managers to maintain and enhance the systems to support Trust activities.

Reporting to the Clinical Systems Team Manager the successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated individual who is able to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as there will be a frequent need to multi task and prioritise your workload.

**Main duties of the job**:

- Provide 2nd line support to users of systems supported by the Clinical Systems team
- Provide specialist knowledge on systems to Trust staff for the development and enhancements of systems to support Trust activities
- System administration for the clinical information systems
- Participate in the testing and deployment of system upgrades and changes
- Produce standard and ad hoc reports as and when required
- Prioritise own workload and meet targets

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyse system issues and recommend solutions

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Word & Excel
- Knowledge of Information Governance and Data Protection
- Knowledge of Data Quality
