Alongside her award-winning product line, Boutique services include, a Visia® Skin Scanner, a futuristic, discreet ‘light pod’ offering LED light therapy, exclusive Micro Facials, a ‘Theory Bar’ where our Skinesis skin experts host masterclass sessions in the practical art of skincare, as well as the space playing host to regular press and client events and product launches.
**Job summary**
The Boutique Supervisor will be the right hand to our current Boutique Manager. They will assist in managing the team and ensuring the smooth operational daily running of our Flagship Boutique. They will have a love of skincare and a passion for delivering seamless, client focussed service. This role is fast paced, demanding and exciting. As well as daily team supervision, they build relationships with clients, perform treatments, manage Store systems and operations, develop strategies to ensure targets are met, and act as a brand ambassador.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensuring smooth operation of the Boutique and efficient day-to-day management of the Retail Team
- Assisting the Boutique Manger with recruiting and interviewing new retail staff
- Focussing on team performance through timely and efficient onboarding, training, and development plans
- Organising role plays, quizzes and activities focussed on team engagement and motivation
- Training to be organised in down time and planned around the business and lunches
- Ensuring good team timekeeping in terms of breaks and arrivals/departures
- Looking to further improve the working relationship and daily communication with the Clinical Team
- Identifying areas for business growth and strategizing how to implement this growth
- Daily operational management to include (but not limited to):
Ø Floristry
Ø Banking
Ø Cleaning
- Engaging the local community and increasing the customer database
- Maximising brand collaborations, loyalty schemes, sampling and in-store events and social media opportunities - working in partnership with the head of Special Projects, Marketing & PR Teams
- Working alongside the marketing team on all projects, installing and continuously reviewing visual merchandising within the boutique and clinic space
- Assisting with Social Media coverage of the Boutique when required and creating social media content if anything interesting is taking place in the boutique for potential future use
- Performing Boutique treatments such as Microfacials, LED, Endymed, Visia, etc.
- Demonstrating commercial awareness at all times and maximising Boutique sales and profitability
- Undertaking continual rota and Pabau checks - ensuring both align, shift times and lunches are blocked out, and that someone is always present on the shop floor
- Loading the rota onto Pabau each month with the Boutique Manager
- Making trackers at the end of month ready for the month ahead
- Ensuring end of month stock preparation - cupboards to be organised and stock bought forward ready for delivery and stock take
- Being present for Sarah Chapman stock delivery - ensuring all stock is marked off
- Ensuring the retail shelves are thoroughly checked, deep cleaned, and that stock is being rotated and refreshed
- Being aware of expiring stock and keeping the expiring stock tracker update to date
- Coordinating for the relevant staff to be on shift on stock take days and complete stock take with Boutique Manager
- Maintaining the ‘Edit’ stock levels - notifying relevant staff when stock is getting low, assisting Boutique Manager with orders
- Ensuring the team are completing all trackers for GWP and Sampling - as well as client profiling, presenting reports at the end of each month
- Researching potential new products to be included in the ‘Edit’
- Taking cash to the bank
- Spot checking the more unusual transactions such as vouchers and refunds to ensure all the team remember how to process them
- Spot checking retail shelves in reception and the treatment rooms
**Skills & experience needed**:
- A solid experience of working within a beauty retail environment and an eagerness to develop their skills in this area
- A Beauty Therapy qualification at NVQ level 3 or above (or equivalent)
- A strong passion and understanding of skincare products, ingredients, and skin concerns
- Excellent organisational, communication and mentoring skills
