**Quality Controller - Soup & Sauces**

**Role Overview**

We are currently recruiting for Quality Controllers to join or Grimsby Recipe Dish site who are the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose-built site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment; making it a great place to work.

As a member of the Packout quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are adhered to, undertaking and documenting quality and traceability checks throughout each product run. Escalating issues timely to both production and technical teams. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be proactive and have strong communication skills.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Compliance to food safety and health and safety standards
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Completion of quality and traceability documentation
- Operation of a computerised quality control system
- Operation of metal detectors and checkweighers

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Basic English & Maths
- Food Safety Level 2 - training will be given
- Health & Safety Level 2 - training will be given
- Problem solving and decision making skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.35 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
