**Little Ambers - Level 2 Nursery Practitioner Apprenticeship**

Baytree Montessori are looking for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic person with a gentle approach and good team player attitude to join the Bay Tree Montessori team in delivering an efficient and effective service to the children and parents in our community.

Bay Tree Montessori pride themselves on establishing and continuing their second to non unique Montessori philosophy, and 15 year succession providing outstanding childcare to the Bournemouth area and nationwide.

As part of Montessori’s philosophy, being eco-friendly is at the heart of everything will do, and this means all aspects of our nursery are reusable for example, wooden toys, and plates, bowls, and glasses are reusable.

Bay Tree Montessori is situated is in the heart of residential Winton, Bournemouth, and the setting comprises of two rooms.

The setting’s two rooms are used as follows;
**Baby room -** Our baby room is occupied by a maximum of 9 babies at one time.

**Children’s house -**Our children’s house is occupied by a maximum of 23 children between the ages of 2 and 5.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Supporting children with personal care
- Supporting children with feeding
- Planning engaging activities for the children
- Participating in activities with the children
- Participate in regular Montessori resources training
- Emotional literacy with the children
- Once confident interacting with parents/carers
- Keeping children’s documents up to date
- Adhering to health and safety procedures and policies
- Follow safeguarding policy

**Hours**:
This position is 51 weeks per year, working hours will be 42 hours per week with shifts between the settings opening hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, with **one paid day off per week to complete training and coursework.**

**Requirements**:
You must be able to gain a clear DBS.

You must be willing to gain a Level 2 Functional Skills if not you don’t already hold GCSE Grades 4 or above in Maths and English.
