Construction Supervisor

HSL are looking to recruit a Supervisor/Fitter for our client in Nuneaton. The successful applicant will be responsible for Supervising the day to day activities of fitters on site.

The applicant will need to be experienced in working on construction sites, supervising staff, hold a current CSCS card and SSSTS qualification and be able to resolve site based challenges effectively.

The Supervisor will be required to be able to provide training to new employees in conjunction with our Training Team

**Main Duties**:

- Maintain clarity of communication between fitters/Supervisors/Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure that site based operations are performed proficiently, and effectively.
- To carry out delivery, collection and installation of Safety equipment across the UK.
- To assist with the ongoing training of fitters.
- Identify any training needs and liaise with the Training Team to ensure timely resolution.
- Working closely with Assistant Operations Manager and Project Co-ordinators, ensure planned works are carried out as directed from the Ops Workload Diary.
- In the absence of Training & Quality Supervisors, record sickness/absence of fitters and make adjustments to Operations Work Diary if necessary
- To be responsible for the allocated vehicle. Ensure vehicle has been checked before leaving the yard
- fill in vehicle check sheet, that drivers are fobbed in before beginning any journey
- To ensure that all tasks including the installation/removal of Safegate equipment are carried out
- Point of contact of all immediate site and non-site issues.

**Important Information**

All fines incurred whether parking or driving related are the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle.

Due to the nature of the works there may be a requirement to stay overnight

**Hours**:
Can be from any time from 2am if travelling to Glasgow, flexibility is a must, but hours are usually from 5am until finish. Hours can typically be around 37 - 50 hours per week

**Pay**:
£16.75 per hour
