Football Centre

The Football Centre & Gym Assistant is a dynamic role that oversees every aspect of the day-to-day running of the gym at The Hive London. Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the gym as well as ensuring that the equipment and machines are in excellent working condition. Also ensuring our locker rooms and sauna are hygienic and presentable to create a world class experience for our customers.

**DUTIES**
- Manage the daily operations of the gym including maintaining and setting up equipment, ensuring it is safe for use at all times.
- Complete operational tasks and administrative duties as and when required.
- Coordinate and manage the gym’s fitness class schedule.
- Maintain high levels of member satisfaction by resolving any issues and ensuring a positive gym environment.
- To provide flexible cover and assist in the day to day duties of both the gym and the football centre.
- Maintain a safe and clean gym environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote and market the gym, working to attract and retain members.
- Regularly report to gym management, providing updates on the gym’s operations and performance.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A passion and enthusiasm for fitness and wellbeing.
- A passion for supporting people reach their full potential.
- You’ll be comfortable with managing staff, financial reporting and inventory.
- A desire to do the right thing with an eye for detail and a swift and effective attitude as a problem solver.
- Ability to organise own workload and prioritise appropriately with minimum supervision.
- A L2 qualification in gym instructing, and experience teaching group exercise is a bonus
- Ability to work on a shift pattern which will include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holiday work - **ESSENTIAL**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £15,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
