Catering Assistant

**Fixed-Term contract from May until the end of September 2025.**

**Main responsibilities**

To assist in the catering operation ensuring excellent standards of food, beverage, team work and customer service at all times.

Ø Serving Customers

Ø Preparing hot drinks including, tea coffee and hot chocolate

Ø Helping with basic food preparation

Ø Handling cash and taking card payments

Ø Helping to clear tables and keep the café clean and tidy

Ø Keep food preparation and serving areas clean and tidy

**General responsibilities**

Ø To ensure excellent customer service at all times

Ø To be able to work both as part of a team and individually

Ø To represent the core values of the company at all times

**Additional duties**:
Ø Undertake any other reasonable management request

Ø Attend staff meetings when required

Ø Work flexibly where possible to support colleagues when required

**Legal Duties**:
Ø Comply fully with all legal requirements including GDPR, Employment law, Weights and Measures, (this list is not exhaustive)

Ø Attend any Health and Safety training when required

Ø Ensure full compliance with all areas of Health and Safety as per company Health and Safety policy at all times

Ø Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations at all times
