Mpeople Recruitment are recruiting for a **Sales Ledger Clerk** to join a reputable business based in **Denton**.

**Role**:Sales Ledger Clerk

**Location**:Denton

**Salary**:upto £23,000

**Hours**:8am - 4pm Monday to Friday - hybrid working

**Key Tasks**

v Proactively chasing debtors and adhere to policies and procedures to ensure timely payments.

v Administering and maintaining the client ledgers in the system.

v Raising credit notes as appropriate.

v Posting sales ledger receipts and allocating receipts.

v Maintaining of the sales ledger ensuring completeness and accuracy of information

v Continuous development within SAP of customer specific routines and tasks such as, invoicing process, cash allocation & statement production.

v Actively assist Account Management & Operations with queries etc. via CRM and ensure timely resolution.

v Manage aged debtor performance on related accounts, timely payment of invoices when due per agreed terms.

v Supporting the month end reconciliation process

v Bank reconciliation

v Assisting with the purchase ledger

v Raising invoices and credit notes as appropriate and experience of more on-line payment methods such as credit card.

**Key Skills**

v Previous experience as Credit Control (minimum 1 year)

v Excellent communication skills.

v Experience in dealing with high volumes and blue-chip companies

v SAP or SAP Business 1 experience preferred

v Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial colleagues, management team, business stakeholders and with both Clients and Suppliers.

v Effective debt collection skills

v A confident and professional telephone manner

v Ability to priorities workloads and meet deadlines with strong organisational skills

v Proven technical ability, advanced excel skills required and financial modelling would be advantageous.

v In depth knowledge of financial systems such as SAP or equivalent and supporting management information systems.

v Attention to detail and accuracy

v Strong problem-solving skills

v Willing to adopt a flexible, hands on, common sense, “lead from the front”, “can do” approach to ensure (and be accountable for) benefits realisation.

v High-energy, enthusiastic self-starter capable of autonomous working but also a “team player”.

**Salary**: Up to £23,000.00 per year
