Astbury Lodge is a purpose built home within spacious grounds approximately one mile from Ellesmere town Centre with accessible local transport links.
Astbury Lodge has a selection of communal lounges and dining rooms with pleasing dementia friendly décor and is home for up to 41 residents. The home also boosts unique features include an outside bar with bench seating and a brick barbecue, raised flower beds and raised allotment plots full of salad and vegetables where our residents like to spend time with family and friends whilst tending to their garden.
An exciting opportunity to be part of our Housekeeping team at Astbury Lodge has become available for a Housekeeper to join our existing team. As a member of our Housekeeping team you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment at all times.

We’ve adopted a flexible working approach to all our roles, by adapting a rota that means you have as much flexibility as you need to fit around your other commitments meaning you will still have time for family, friends and hobbies. Experience isn’t required as we provide exceptional paid training and ongoing support to ensure you’re happy in your role whilst our residents receive the excellent service they deserve.

**Key Responsibilities**
- General cleaning around the home (e.g. floors, rooms, furniture etc...)
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required
- Adhere to the home’s disposal of waste policy.
- Report immediately to the Home Manager or the person in charge, any accident incurred by a service user, colleague, self or another.
- Report to the Home Manager or the Handyperson any faulty appliances, damaged furniture/equipment of any potential hazards.
