**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanour.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow within a well established system of parameters, using ResDiary.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the entrance and waiting areas. Helping with front of house service as and when required to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering guest queries as needed.
- Support the overall hospitality experience by helping other team members as required.
- This position will be based at Salt Uppermill and will cover the restaurant's operations as well as our sister site 'The Waggon Inn's' operations, dealing with large party bookings, pre-orders and deposits, enquiries for private dining experiences and small function opportunities.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in guest services within a hotel or restaurant environment is essential.
- Knowledge of how a restaurant booking system works to optimise customer flow and is essential to the overall success of a hospitality operation is key. Understanding of ResDiary would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others is crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
