**Sales Associate**
**Full time: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an instore Sales Associate to join our team.
You will be working with leading industry brands such as, Milk_Shake, A.S.P, K18, Mood and many more.
You will drive sales by maximising brand awareness and visibility.
In this position you will be responsible for building key relationships with customers to drive sales.
You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking someone who has confidence and experience in sales and customer service.
Experience within the hair and beauty industry would be advantageous but not essential as we offer extensive brand training.
The position requires someone with drive, ambition, and hunger for success. You will need to be highly motivated, with excellent relationship development and negotiation skills.
You will have an outgoing personality, real drive and energy, and a thirst for knowledge.
You will have the ability to deal with a wide range of people, always being polite and friendly, be a good listener and quick learner.
You must also have experience in all office-based computer programmes and software.
**Main duties**:
Report to store manager
Introduce, promote and co-ordinate merchandise to maximise sales
Receiving and making calls to customers, suppliers and field sales team
Welcoming customers into the store, giving good service by efficient handling of cash and point of sale procedures
Processing customer sales orders both over the phone and in store, achieving sales targets
To be knowledgeable off all product lines
Be aware of current promotions and publicity
Updating customer records with real time information, new contact information and notes on support interactions
To carry out correct returns procedures in line with company policy
Assisting managers with various admin tasks.
Liaising with suppliers
Information / document logging and filing
Answering questions from customers and relaying queries to the relevant team members
Communicating with the manager about merchandising, new products, overstock, old stock, back orders
The role may include other reasonable duties/tasks
**Essential skills**:
Written and verbal communication skills for clear interactions with customers, suppliers and other team members
Willingness to learn
Good admin and organisation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Computer literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office
