Here at** Langdons**,**we have**an amazing opportunity for a** Site Maintenance Operative**to join the team based in **Liverpool.**You will be working on a **full time, permanent** basis, working **Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00** and in return, you will receive a **highly** **competitive salary of £29,637.88 per annum plus excellent company benefits**

**The Site Maintenance Operative role**:
Ensures the depot and its' equipment is maintained and repaired safely and effectively in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

**What you’ll be doing as our Site Maintenance Operative**:

- Conduct daily site and refrigeration checks, ensuring all actual and potential repairs are reported and followed up with relevant colleagues and contractors on a timely basis
- Undertake routine maintenance on site lighting and vehicle wash equipment where required
- Ensure depot equipment is repaired and maintained in accordance with company standards and procedures
- Ensure high levels of safety and cleanliness at all times throughout the depot and its grounds and that required house-keeping duties and safety measures meet required standard
- Assist management colleagues with identifying, negotiating prices with and arranging for contractors to ensure required works are completed as required and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Update and maintain appropriate records and ensure all relevant information is shared with relevant departments on a timely basis

**What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Site Maintenance Operative?**
- Qualified to Level 2 or equivalent in Building Maintenance, Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations
- Experienced in following established procedures and problem-solving and/or making sound judgements where not all information is available
- Experienced in carrying out a variety of general maintenance duties

**What skills are we looking for in our Site Maintenance Operative?**
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
- Ability to use initiative and organise their work so that key tasks can be completed fully and on time.
- Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Proven arithmetic skills
- High attention to detail and confident to challenge working practices where necessary in the right manner and on a timely basis
