Great Bear is an award-winning 3rd Party UK business of Ambient products, providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions.

We are currently looking for both experienced and newly qualified professional HGV C+E Drivers on permanent basis for our contract at our Brackmills depot.

Competitive rates with earning a minimum of £36,855 on days and £39,585 on nights

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days

Start time: Days 04:00-06:00

Rates:

- £14.50 per hour - Days
- £15.50 per hour - Night
- Overtime = £18.55 per hour - Days after completing weekly contractual hours
- Overtime = £19.55 per hour - Nights after completing weekly contractual hours
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
- Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
- Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
- Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery
- Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business
- Any other duties as reasonably required

**Qualifications**
- Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence
- Current CPC
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadline
