We are currently recruiting for a QA Engineer on a 12 month fixed term contract You will be a key part of an Agile team assisting to produce high quality software services to support esure’s ambitious digital transformation.

What you will do:

- Deliver high quality products and features into production that will meet our customer and business needs
- Work with product owners to build project backlog items with clear acceptance criteria
- Analyse changes being made and build test cases that provide appropriate test coverage
- Create high quality test automation and ensure the acceptance criteria for a product continue to be met over many future iterations.
- Work to improve the capability and processes of the Quality Engineering, Engineering and IT functions by suggesting and supporting improvements and sharing knowledge

**Qualifications**

We’d love you to have:

- Experience testing distributed, scalable, and highly available systems
- Demonstrable experience creating test plans and test scripts
- Experience of assessing test coverage and working with business and technical colleagues to ensure coverage is appropriate
- Experience and understanding of the wider Quality role required in order to improve quality across the full project delivery lifecycle and drive continuous improvement
- Exposure to agile, SCRUM & Dev Ops delivery model
- Collaboration tools: JIRA/ Confluence.
- Exposure to testing software in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar
- Experience of creating test automation is highly advantageous
