We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital IT Trainer/Skills Coach.
This position is fully remote and permanent.
This is a great time to join as this training provider is going through an exciting period of growth and the new start of a range of new Digital IT training programmes.
This training provider has an added focus on the learner journey and the quality of the delivery and assessment.
The Digital IT Skills Trainer/Talent Coach will be supporting employed learners who have enrolled on intermediate short courses in Digital IT Skills
As an experienced Digital Skills Trainer you can expect:

Typical duties of the Skills Coach/Trainer will include:

- Coach, mentor, and guide learners who are engaged in Digital IT Skills programmes which include Coding, Website Development, Programming and Computer Maths
- Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups in
- Plan and design specific industry-standard learning programmes in technical competencies, behaviours and relationships.
- Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be varied and will include coaching through Microsoft Teams and online platforms
- Prepare training/group sessions/assessment plans utilising a variety of training methods, accommodating different learning styles.
- Use effective materials and appropriate resources, at a pace and level which meet learners’ needs.
- Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential
- Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
- Ensuring all IT systems are up to date and meet funding compliance
Skills and Experience Required for the Digital IT Skills Coach/Trainer
- Holding a recognised Teaching Qualification would be desirable
- PTLLS, Award in Education and Training
- Holding a recognised Assessors Award such as CAVA, TAQA or A1 would be desirable
- Ideally educated to degree level in Computer science or Information System
- Previous experience working as a Skills Coach/Digital Skills Trainer
- Up to date knowledge and experience working with Website Development, Computer Programming, Computer Maths and Mobile Applications Development
- Prior experience in delivering Digital IT Skills at levels 3 or above
- Competent user of remote platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning platforms.
- Knowledge of E-Portfolios
