- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Support chefs and cooks during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely.
- Help with catering events as required, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient working environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills will be beneficial.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential qualities for this role.
