Trainee Surveyor

**EMS are an award winning, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy working nationwide throughout the UK and in Europe. Established in 2003, EMS have four office bases in Hereford, Worcester, Cardiff and London and provide a range of environmental services to throughout the private, public, industrial and domestic sectors.**

**We pride ourselves on our personal approach to client care, professional approach to outstanding service delivery and our dynamic team of surveyors, engineers and staff; many of whom joined EMS at trainee level and have been retained to become part of our trusted management team.**

**Due to continuing expansion of the company, we are looking for a new surveyor trainee to join our busy team.**

The position is full time and will be based from our Hereford office; we have several contracts in Hereford, Worcester and Gloucestershire but also work throughout the UK and have offices in Hereford, Worcester, Cardiff and London.

Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative and have good communication skills as well as a proactive and diligent approach to their work and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to work as part of a team and off their own initiative
- Be willing to learn and work with others
- Have good basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Have a flexible attitude to working hours
- Be willing and happy to travel throughout the UK
- Have a full UK driving license
- Experience within the construction/environmental sector is advantageous but not necessary
