**Project Coordinator**

**Purpose of Role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody starting out their career, looking to step into the world of aviation, projects and travel retail. The role will be working alongside our existing operations team where you will be given the opportunity to learn from an experienced team, attend specific training courses as well as learn on the job.

Amalga provide a range of innovative and responsive solutions to our customers across UK airports.

In this role you will be working closely with the Logistics team who together will oversee, direct, and take full responsibility for the leadership and management of a dedicated team of staff, and portfolio of projects. Amalga prides itself on delivering and maintaining extremely high standards for our clients and airport stakeholders with a focus on Health & Safety, quality of service, and as a business expect its team to embody this culture.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

- Under the supervision and guidance from the Logistics management team, you will work on a multitude of projects across a variety of UK airports.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to work across all areas of the business
- Working in collaboration with other departments and project managers
- Strong communication skills, directly with the client and third parties in relation to projects under your control
- Liaise with clients and potential clients to promote Amalga’s services
- Comply with the Companies strict Health & Safety environment, security and quality guidelines and policies.
- Schedule works and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Work with the team to determine labour requirements and define activities schedules
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Shadow the team when creating method statements and undertaking risk assessments
- Procure supplies and materials
- Commercial involvement with suppliers and customers
- Prepare and submit progress/project reports under the supervision of the Logistics management team
- Input into continual improvement programmes
- Attend, contribute to client and internal meetings. Including:

- _Progress reviews_
- _Planning meetings_
- _Quality reviews_
- _Internal Management and Process Reviews_
- _H&S meetings_
- Liaise with supervisory personnel, customers, contractors, suppliers and others to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, problems and solutions

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Excellent organisational skills, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to competently operate MS Office suite of software
- Focus on satisfying customer requirements and delivering a quality product and service
- Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude and approach to work
- Desire for self-development and progression within the Company
- Driving Licence
