Snowdonia Fire Protection Ltd, a successful, family-owned company, based in Waunfawr near Caernarfon, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to oversee Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control.

The company has been in operation since 1974 - initially specializing in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire protection equipment, but with recent expansion into Sprinkler and Electronic Security systems - including Intruder alarms, CCTV and Door Access systems.

Based in Waunfawr near Caernarfon, the successful applicant will start as soon as possible and have a period of in-house training before taking over this role. Due to our rural location, transport is essential.

The successful applicant will have experience of using SAGE 50 in a commercial role and will be responsible for
- Processing and recording sales and purchase transactions,
- Checking and recording on-line payments
- Updating the Accounts ledgers
- Issuing monthly statements to clients
- Credit Control - and chasing overdue accounts in a timely fashion
- Preparing reports for Directors as required

To be short-listed for the role, you will have the following skills and experience and may be required to demonstrate competence at interview.
- Excellent bookkeeping skills and detailed knowledge and practical experience in accounting using Sage 50 accounts
- The ability to pay great attention to detail
- Be thorough, competent and accurate in Data entry
- Excellent telephone manner together with experience of and confidence in dealing with customers over the telephone
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

A competitive salary is offered which will be discussed at interview, together with a Company Pension scheme after a qualifying period.
