**Independent Positive Relationship Youth Support Worker.**

We are recruiting a Independent Positive Relationship Youth Support Worker, The role is part of a fixed term for 12 months. (depending on funding, these roles may be extended).

**Hours of work**: 37 hours
**Salary: £22,870** (pro rata) per annum (Fixed Term 12 months)

**Job purpose**:

- To provide a flexible, effective, safe, supportive and confidential service for young people attending high schools, colleges, who have experienced domestic abuse either within their own home, or their personal relationships.
- To offer emotional and practical support individually to young people.
- To deliver information and support group sessions to young people /professionals on the impact of domestic abuse on young people.
- To follow the CAYPO team operational policies and procedures.
- To support the CAYPO team co-ordinator in working towards the best possible outcomes for young people.

**Essential requirements**:

- Level 3 Childcare or youth work qualification, Experience of working with young people individually and in a group setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to be creative, plan and run youth activities. Ability to operate record and maintain administrative systems.
- Experience of delivering presentations. Ability to be flexible and work independently or as part of a team. Ability to be able to respond calmly in sometimes pressured situations.
- Experience of working within the legislation around safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. Reliable, enthusiastic, patient, non-judgemental and understanding. A clear understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and information sharing, Good computer skills.
- Driving licence, business insurance and the ability to travel across Norfolk.

**Salary**: £22,870.00 per year
