**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Design and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
- Educate participants on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
- Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring they are engaging and productive.
- Monitor and assess athlete performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among participants.
- Organise and lead competitive events, including matches and tournaments.
- Maintain safety standards during training sessions and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including its techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
- Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and events effectively.
- A valid coaching qualification or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Apprenticeship, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
