Who is Chevron Traffic Management?

In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. The next time you are out and about and see roadworks, have a look at the signage. It is possible that Chevron Traffic Management put them there.

It involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with our suppliers and our customers to ensure that our schemes are fit for purpose. About the role of Logistics Planner

Chevron TM require a full-time Logistics Planner to help increase the efficiency of the existing team.

Previous experience in the traffic management or general hire industry would be advantageous but is not essential. Knowledge of general commercial vehicle driver requirements would also be advantageous.
- Liaise with operatives, depots and clients in order to ensure efficient delivery of services.
- Monitor general traffic conditions and advise operatives as required.
- Liaise with the Fleet Manager to resolve vehicle issues and maintain fleet standards.
- Check Daily Vehicle Defect sheets are collected & completed correctly.
- Monitor driver & vehicle compliance.
- Ensuring all customer requests are acknowledged and acted upon in a prompt & professional manner.
- To liaise with client whenever necessary, to keep our client informed of our performance.

What good looks like
- Good working knowledge of the London & Home Counties.
- Strong attention to detail and desire to maintain the very highest of standards.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- IT literate, familiar with Microsoft office
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English
