**Warehouse Supervisor UKM / Wheildon Road**

**Purpose of the Role**

You will work closely with the head of warehouse on a daily basis regarding any operational issues and make sure that the warehouse runs smoothly. You will provide support to the other operatives with any issues that might arise and pick up issues with other departments who might need your involvement, you will assist with picking out ordered items from storage shelving / racking either by bar code or product ID and work proactively to forward plan and advance pack ahead of collection.
Cleaning, tidying and maintaining the warehouse space will also be part of the daily routine.

**Responsibilities**
- Allocate and supervise daily tasks
- Monitor the quality of the work that our warehouse operatives carry out and make sure that our products are handled correctly in line with company training and H&S guidelines
- Plan the daily shift resource and monitor workload throughout the shift to make sure our vehicles are loaded on time
- Transaction all stock movements between sites and between location moves.
- Receipt in all stock to a final location that is delivered by any external vender.
- Plan and execute cycle-counts to ensure frequent and accurate reconciliation of inventory across all warehouses.
- Investigate, establish, and report on the root cause of inventory discrepancies to support the business functions.
- Carry out internal audits of inventory practices at operational level to attain continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and material control
- Monitor and report on inventory shelf life to minimise stock write-off
- Complete stock adjustments in line with authorization policies and protocols
- Unloading Deliveries
- Comply with health and safety.
- Ensuring warehouse stock is safely put away
- Responsible for maintaining set KPI's

**Requirements**:

- An in-depth understanding of warehouse operations
- Experience in leading and motivating a diverse workforce

- Understanding of working in an environment with daily fluctuating workloads
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, able to build strong working relationships
- Time management
