Whether guiding their path to net zero or redeveloping their facilities for enhanced efficiency, we create better places for work whilst taking away the burden of facility operations, freeing up our customers to concentrate on their business. **What you'll do**: - To raise purchase orders for the site as required - To administer time sheets, holiday forms and miscellaneous documentation as required - To be responsible for closing out all AMS work orders - To be responsible for ordering and distribution of uniform, PPE and stationery - To control administration of sub-contractors and suppliers in accordance with EFS procedures, including but not limited to the issuing and tracking of purchase orders, sub-contract instructions and all necessary documentation for site visits - To be responsible for hiring/off-hiring plant and equipment as specified - To ensure that all maintenance jobs are escalated through the system as soon as possible - To produce and distribute weekly paperwork for engineers and operatives and to log on to the Asset Management System with relevant updates and status changes for any returned paperwork - To arrange and book in skip deliveries/exchanges and to ensure that appropriate paperwork is in place - To organise and co-ordinate the Building Condition Surveyor, including but not limited to data entry and compiling and distributing reports - To be responsible for booking all external deliveries with site logistics - To operate the helpdesk as required - To complete various general administrative duties as required by the Site Manager in order to support an efficient operation **Who you'll be**: - Whilst specific qualifications are not required for this position, an understanding of the facilities services industry would be advantageous - A proven track record in a similar or customer facing role is desirable - Good level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills and the ability to work as part of a team - Computer literacy is essential - a proven track record in using bespoke software packages would be advantageous - Good Health & Safety and quality awareness - A flexible and customer focused attitude is vital to this role - Excellent customer service - Good temperament, polite and courteous - Able to cope under pressure - Articulate and able to communicate with colleagues and customers at all levels - Smart, presentable appearance - Adaptable and flexible approach - Able to carry out work with minimum supervision **Other factors**: - The individual must be willing and able to gain and maintain DV clearance **At EMCOR UK, we embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms.** **We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic that makes you unique.
