**What will you be doing as a Home Delivery Driver?**
- Working as a 2-man delivery team maintaining a safe working environment - operating the vehicle in a safe manner, adhering to road traffic regulations
- Efficient delivery and installation of customers furniture
- Constructing items in customers’ homes in line with contract guidelines including removal of waste packaging and returning it to site for appropriate disposal
- Adhering to specified time restrictions under current legislation
- Complete internal stock transfers to maximise vehicle utilisation
- Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
- Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey, reporting all defects as per procedure
- Completing all documentation accurately and returning to the depot at the end of each shift
- Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
- Providing a first class customer service experience at all times

**Relevant skills and experience as a Home Delivery Driver**:

- This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting - essential that you are physically able to lift up items
- Valid LGV, HGV Class 2 License or 7.5 tonne grandfather rights license
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
- A general understanding of drivers hours legislation and working time directive
- No more than 6 points on driving license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
- Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Previous experience in assembly and fitting is desirable but not essential
