**ROLE- Lead Aerostructures Engineer**
**LOCATION- Hampshire**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £50,000 - £65,000, dependent on experience**
My client is a manufacturer within the Aerospace industry. They are looking for a Lead Aerostructures Engineer to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis.
**The Lead Aerostructures Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Physics discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience working in the Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of composites
- Experienced managing a team and motivating others
- Experience working in a Research & Development setting would also be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Excellent leadership skills

**The Lead Aerostructures Engineer role will involve**:

- Leading the Aerostructures Team in the design and development of specialist equipment
- Managing schedules and budgets to meet project demands
- Working in a Research and Development setting
- Managing assembly and test projects in the Aerospace industry
- Coordinating with various departments to develop project plans
- Guiding more junior members of the team
- Managing documentation and reports and ensuring these are accurate and maintained
