**Customer Service Administrator**

**Location**:Chelmsford, Essex CM1 2QE
**Salary**:£19,000 - £22,000, DOE
**Contract**:Full Time, Permanent
**Hours**:Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm OR 9am - 5pm with one-hour unpaid lunch

The company specialise in adapting the homes of the elderly and disabled people to ensure that they are accessible and fit for purpose.

Most adaptations involve bathroom, kitchen and equipment installations and are both grant and privately funded.

Due to their continued success, they are looking to recruit add a full time Customer Service Administrator to their busy team in Chelmsford, on a well-established business centre with great business support.

**Customer Service Administrator - The role**:

- Opening post-distribute as necessary, take out-going post to reception.
- Answering the phone and door, taking messages, dealing with enquiries, including clients and deliveries.
- Using/updating of in-house system
- Dealing with demands of the company Fleet i.e., Insurance, maintenance, repairs etc
- Administer and maintain office systems such as Pat Testing, Office equipment servicing etc
- Production of client and staff information packs.
- Sending out of company literature.
- Scanning of documents onto system.
- Appointment making for Director & Project Managers.
- Data entry.
- Client, supplier and staff liaison and support.
- Assist and support all staff

**What we need from you**:

- Minimum 2 years administrative/customer service experience.
- Polite and respectful Customer Service skills/Telephone Manner.
- Excellent IT / Word / Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proactive and enthusiastic 'can do’ attitude.
- Good team player.
- An empathetic and patient nature due to the vulnerability of the client base.
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative when alone in the office.
- Live within an easily commutable distance.
