**the den** is one of Harrogate's longest-standing independent hospitality venues (est. 2012). We entertain our customers with live music, live sports, five premium pool tables, and a dart board.

We have teamed up with Harrogate's famous Thug Sandwich Co. to create **Thug Grub** offering incredible smashed burgers, loaded fries, loaded nachos, fried chicken and more.

- Punctual
- Well presented and organised in maintaining the uniform provided (free of charge).
- Able to go without your mobile phone outside of breaks (if you need to be contactable we have a process in place to enable this)
- Able to show initiative
- Open to learning
- Able to pay attention to detail and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers have an awesome time.
- Willing to work weekends
- Able to get home **safely **out of public transport times - this is VERY important to us.

**Duties Include **(but are not limited to)
- Prep and service alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders and provide recommendations
- Maintain and clean and organised venue
- Check ID to ensure the legal drinking age of customers
- Cash handling
- Adhere to all food and alcohol safety policies
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist in opening and closing duties.

**Other notes**
- Our roles include a 6-month probation
- Bartenders are **not** permitted to drink alcohol on shift
- Our mascot, Bonnie (Dog) is often on site and we are dog-friendly venue.

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
