Are you a student looking for a flexible part-time (22hrs p/w) placement opportunity in IT Training, where you can use your skills to create engaging internal training videos?

This is a 3-month paid opportunity where you can build up your portfolio and gain valuable experience working with an IT Training team and the wider IT department. There is potential for the placement to be extended beyond the initial 3 months.

**The role may also involve**:

- Consulting with SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) around the business
- Liaising with the service desk regarding frequently raised issues or questions
- Liaising with project teams to identify key issues and messages
- Work will be given on a “when required” basis.
- You will normally be able to choose when you complete the work, provided you meet the relevant, agreed deadlines

This role reports to the National IT Training Manager as part of the IT Training Team. This team is part of the larger IT department of Elysium Healthcare.

Travel may be required on occasion, for which expenses will be paid.

**Person Specification Essential**:

- Creating and editing experience - applicants are encouraged to submit an example of a “how to” video they have created (this could be as part of your course or otherwise)
Products used currently are Camtasia Studio and Captivate
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- A keen eye for detail
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Experience with storyboards and planning of recording
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience working within style guidelines
