The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Supervisor to work for Worcestershire NHS trust, who provide hospital-based services to a population of 592,158 people within the Worcestershire area.

**Location / Department**:

- Supply Chain Supervisor - Theatres Supply Chain Team

**Accountable to**: Director of procurement

**Reports to**: Deputy Supply chain Manager

**Working pattern**: 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) / Some flexibility can be provided with regards to start and finish times.

**Job Purpose**:
**Full Job Description and Duties will be provided during pre-employment screening, below are just some of the duties involved in the position**:

- Organisation and prioritisation of workloads of the supply chain team, whilst managing these conflicting demands efficiently and ensuring contract lead times are adhered to.
- Take receipt of and book in delivered goods whilst reporting any discrepancies and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor stock movement analysis and re-ordering level assessment in conjunction with user requirements.
- Delivery of goods to the correct end destination within the clinical areas and patient and visitor consideration adhered to at all times.
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and developing relationships with suppliers ensuring their products meet organisational needs and contractual agreements.
- ** Previous experience of working within supply chain is essential along with some experience of working within a health care environment.**

**Salary and Benefits**:

- £23,949 - £26,282 Dependent on referenceable work history and experience
- Flexibility of daily working pattern can be available.
- Proven training, development and mentoring available with six people promoted within department during the last 12 months.
- NHS pension scheme
