**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus, including special dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food safety standards, and culinary practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £10.80-£12.20 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 18 per week
