**Job description**:
Join us as an Employment Law & HR Consultant
- If you're an HR professional with significant experience in employee relations or employment law, we’d love to hear from you
- Managing a portfolio of small and medium sized customers across a wide range of businesses, you will provide solutions to meet their diverse employment and HR needs
- Working with a team of like-minded professionals, you will build your technical knowledge and relationship management skills in a supportive, learning based environment
- This is a remote-first role, but you’ll be required to travel across the Liverpool & Manchester region
- Depending on your experience, you'll be rewarded with a salary of up to £44,000 per annum, along with our excellent benefits package including a car allowance of £6,000 per annum

**What you'll do**:
You’ll build trusted relationships with your own portfolio of customers, gaining an in-depth understanding of their business and priorities. You will interpret employment legislation and case law to give clear, accurate advice whilst also providing consultancy and training services across a range of HR topics. Through knowing your customers, you’ll identify any additional opportunities to sell products and services as appropriate to meet their needs.

You’ll also be:

- Making sure that your advice and guidance is appropriate, technically correct and within risk appetite
- Responsible for customer retention and renewal pricing conversations within your portfolio
- Engaging customers with our digital platform
- Supporting our Employment Law advice line by taking calls one day a month
- Delivering consultancy services outside of your own portfolio across our diverse customer base either face to face or by zoom

**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone with a strong knowledge of employment legislation including the ability to interpret legislation and case law. You’ll have a professional qualification in Employment Law/HR or an equivalent level of experience, ideally with a consultancy background. You’ll have provided advice and guidance across a range of HR matters, including managing HR projects and complex case work. You’ll also need proven relationship management skills, have worked with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor and be comfortable talking to customers about chargeable services. Used to managing your own time, you’ll be able to prioritise customer needs and manage your stakeholders accordingly.

You’ll also need:

- Practical experience in employment law, employee relations or HR in a professional role
- Experience in partnering with stakeholders on operational and strategic HR issues
- A background of identifying customer needs, calling out risks and prioritising recommendations
