Management Accoutant

Advanced Supply Chain Group are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Management Accountant to join their growing successful financial team. You’ll be helping the Commercial Finance team and Group FP&A Manager by supporting with the month-end regime tomake sure accurate reporting throughout the month with Flash Reporting. This role will require a professional approach to support our key stakeholders with key strategic programmes and projects across our southern sites and the wider business.

You’ll be working closely with our Commercial Finance Manager who will be supporting you with your daily tasks and providing ongoing technical support to help motivate you and drive the wider team. Our financial team are a highly functional, people focusedteam who are agile in the marketplace. You will join us at our Corby Hunter’s Pont site on a full-time basis with the option of hybrid working 2 days per week. You can expect to receive a competitive salary between £35,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience.

**Responsibilities of our Management Accountant will include**:

- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations along with investigation and satisfactory conclusion of reconciling items
- Prepare monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports (including preparation and posting journals, review of GRNI and general ledger entries)
- Working with key stakeholders to deliver the daily financial KPIs, assisting with ensuring the Finance team is fully aware of negative/positive P&L factors
- Ensuring governance is maintained on previously agreed SOPs and helping to implement governance which is not in place where required
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations along with investigation and satisfactory conclusion of reconciling items
- Analysis of month-end results including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Being involved in raising invoices and investigating and reviewing customer invoice queries where required
- Following financial governance processes and audits to ensure company policies on purchasing/invoicing/sign off and cap-ex policies are followed

**What we’re looking for in our Management Accountant**:

- Experience with month-end accounts preparation and reporting
- Sage 200 experience
- Analytical skills are essential, as the post holder will be required to comprehend and interpret operational data and financial models
- Microsoft Excel skills are essential
- A consultative skillset is needed, and an understanding of the valuable role that accurate financial reporting can play in leveraging other business development growth opportunities
