Financial Controller

Collins Earthworks has been operating since 1996, previously known as Collins Contractors Plant Hire, changing our name officially in 2000. Since this time we have expanded with the opening of 6 sister companies enabling us to offer all aspects within theConstruction Industry.

We are looking to recruit a **Financial Controller** to join our professional and friendly team.

Duties to include.
- Assist the Finance Director in budgeting and forecasting for the Collins companies
- Support the Finance Director in cash flow forecasting
- Support continuous improvements across the organisation
- Month end inventory reporting
- Analysis Monthly VAT Returns.
- Analyse staff expense claims
- Review Credit Accounts
- Review Supplier Vetting Forms
- Accounts Compliance checks
- Assist on Information required for External Audits for 3 of the companies
- Help to resolve parked invoices, liaising with the accounts payable team
- Complete R&D claims - experience desirable
- Review annual Insurance quotes
- Maintaining Assets Register for each Company
- Holiday cover for Accounts Manager’s
- Sage 50 accounts experience essential along with Microsoft Packages
- General administrator duties

In turn the company is offering 21 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays, Vitality Health Scheme, NEST Government pension and annual bonus.

The position is Full Time, 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day based at our Ripley offices.

Salary dependant on experience.
