**People and Engagement Assistant**

Department: Human Resources

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Flexible Hours

We are seeking a professional individual to join our Human Resources team as a People and Engagement Assistant. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Head of HR, driving employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes. **Key Responsibilities**
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Data Management: Input and manage employee data in our HR systems, including time and attendance records.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing and editing various HR documents, such as employment contracts and letters.
- Recruitment Support: Aid in the recruitment process by posting job adverts and coordinating interviews.
- Onboarding: Support the induction process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Absence Management: Monitor employee records to ensure compliance with Right to Work legislation.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team and other departments as needed.
- Performance Reviews: Actively monitor and coordinate probation and absence management reviews.
- Wellbeing Initiatives: Assist in organising Occupational Health, Wellbeing appointments, and Employee Engagement events.
- Health Promotion: Coordinate healthy eating and Mental Health initiatives for all employees.
- Customer Support: Serve as a friendly and helpful point of contact for onsite customers, providing assistance and refreshments.
- Event Coordination: Arrange onsite buffets, considering dietary requirements and preferences.

**Requirement for the Role**
- Administration Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Customer Focus: Ability to support the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft packages and databases.
- Proactive Approach: Take initiative and pay attention to detail in all tasks.
- Autonomous Work: Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Engaging Personality: Approachable, confident, and motivated to succeed.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Drive for Excellence: Motivated to excel and contribute to the success of the team and organisation.
