**Role**: Yard Maintenance/Loading Operative

**Hours**:40 hours per week (we can be flexible with hours)

**Reporting to**: Transport Managers

**Who We Are**

dualseal are the UK's leading independent processors of High-Performance Vision and Insulated Spandrel Glass Panels for the construction industry, and forming part of the vandaglas group.

Our glass has been used in many iconic projects across the country including universities and colleges, leisure centres, football clubs, hospitals, hotels and offices.

This role is an exciting position based outdoors working with our Transport Department to maintain the outdoor areas of our site on Leeds Road in Huddersfield and also work in the Despatch team.

**About the role**
- Working predominantly outside in the yard area **all year-round**.
- Organising stillages within the yard area. (if/when forklift trained)
- Loading and unloading wagons. (if/when forklift trained)
- Preparing glass ready for collection/dispatch.
- Checking quality and standard of glass.
- Ensure working areas are safe and clear from debris.
- Maintain a well-presented yard area.
- Ensuring any greenery is maintained and remains tidy.
- Assist in the smooth-running of our waste system.
- Ensure the outdoor smoking area is clean and clear of any litter.
- Support the Despatch Supervisors in their maintenance of the yard.

**About You**
- Thorough and diligent, with an attention to detail.
- Possess an excellent understanding and commitment to safe working practices.
- Positive, flexible attitude.
- Confident communicator
- High standard of work and commitment to quality.
- Forklift License is desirable but not essential for the role.
- You will be required to work Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible.
