Start date: ASAP

Part Time: 9.45am to 10.15pm Saturdays

Hourly rate: £Minimum Wage

Vacancy Description:
Our growing company is looking to hire Bar Staff. Every Saturday you will staff our bar inside and out, greeting and seating customers, taking drinks orders and payment, serving drinks, clearing glasses.

You will also sell our spirits and merchandise on our small shop.

The nature of the business requires lifting heavy goods. Overtime may be available.

Would suit a student.

Skills Required:

- Previous hospitality or retail experience is useful.
- Experience in a similar field (bar work) would be useful.
- Highly dependable and reliable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Team working skills.
- Competent numeracy skills.
- Awareness of Health and Safety.

Located central to the County Town of Kent, Maidstone Distillery is situated in the historic and beautiful setting of the Market Buildings and old Corn Exchange.

Maidstone has a fascinating history of distilling dating as far back as the 18th Century, and it is this alongside our own personal desire to create unique and delicious spirits, that makes us so unique.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 11.5 per week
