**What’s in the role and what are we looking for?**
- To ensure that all Footwear and Accessories produced for Cotton Traders accurately meets our Company specification in terms of sizing, fit, quality and performance.

The key accountabilities of the role will be to:

- Understanding grading of UK/European lasts, product construction and materials
- Fitting footwear and accessories with Buyers/Suppliers and relaying comments back showing initiative and creative thinking where necessary to solve problems
- Completing workbooks and monitoring last measurements & sole units across designs
- Drawing up product specifications for accessories
- Managing all products through the Red/Gold seal sampling process
- Specifying label/packaging details/Pictograms
- Instigating/analysing test reports with recommendations
- Undertaking supplier visits to improve quality standards and increase personal knowledge of manufacturing capabilities/developments
- Regular liaison with our Distribution Centre Quality Control team
- Analysing and reporting on returns information on products
- Advising Customer Services and Retail stores with any queries
- Significant experience within a Technology department
- A Qualification in Footwear/Clothing Technology
- Experience of fitting products, understanding patterns & footwear lasts
- Enthusiasm and determination, with a passion for Footwear Technology
- Team spirit and a positive attitude
- Confidence in communicating, in order to maintain a strong working relationship with all departments and suppliers
- Strong MS Office Excel skills
- A Self-Starter approach to the role with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Highly organised
- Keen attention to detail
- Coral Draw/Adobe illustrator skills (desirable but not essential for Accessories)
