**We are currently recruiting**
A **Library Assistant**to work at **Poulton Library.**This is a temporary fixed term role until 3 rd January 2026, and you will work an average of 17 hours per week which will include some evenings and weekends, over a two-week rota (see attached rota)

**Your new role**
We are looking for an **enthusiastic**, **customer focussed**and **digitally savvy**individual to work within our team. Our ideal person will be **welcoming**and **friendly**, have a **love for reading**and be passionate about sharing this. You will have **excellent communication and digital skills**, be able to work with **a range of partners and volunteers**and be able to deliver a **customer focused service**.
Sometimes, you will need to work at other locations and the role may involve some lone working.
