**About the role**:
As a General Assistant at Invincible Drain Care, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputable company image and supporting our daily operations.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting the Engineer with day to day drainage cleaning and basic plumbing tasks, including reactive jobs and pre planned maintenance. This may involve physically demanding activities such as heavy lifting, excavation, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills under the Engineer's guidance while working alongside colleagues and subcontractors.
- Assisting in investigating problems and determining the most effective action plan.
- Attending job sites to support the Engineer in resolving issues, following the IVDC safe system of work.
- Providing and promoting the highest level of service to our customers.
- Keeping the office team informed and updated regarding work status, job completion and future work recommendations.
- Completing job cards and related paperwork as directed by the Engineer.
- Assisting with the general maintenance of service vans and equipment, including completing checklists.
- Maintaining a clean, uniformed appearance and adhering to all safety guidelines to uphold the IVDC corporate image.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 1 year of experience in construction, drainage, or plumbing.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- CITB H&S Test certificate (Construction Industry Training Board Health and Safety)
- Driver's License
- This role is an entry level job. There is no need for qualification. However, this would be an advantage if this applies._
