**Cheeky Rascals Warehouse Operative**

**Salary: £18-22K**

**Hours Per Week - 41.25 (Monday to Thursday 7.45am until 5 pm, Friday 8am until 4pm)**

**Permanent Position. Previous Warehouse experience preferred - Immediate start**

Come and join the Team We are looking for a permanent Warehouse Operative at our site based in Bordon with a full training package and excellent benefits.

Cheeky Rascals is a family business supplying nursery retailers with unique baby products from across the globe.

The founding principle of the business has always been to find genuinely useful baby kit that makes family life easier and this hasn’t changed. Having started at the kitchen table and moved to the shed, the Cheeky Rascals team is now situated in a four-story period building, formerly a Mill, in the Hampshire countryside and a dedicated warehouse in Bordon.

**What does the job involve?**

The Warehouse Operative will report to the Warehouse Manager. This position will involve warehousing duties such as picking and packing orders, inventory support, assisting in the unloading of containers of new stock, and other assorted tasks, all whilst complying with relevant warehouse health and safety procedures.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Picking and packing orders
- Assessing and processing returns
- Packing pallet orders in a timely manner
- Replenishing pick bays as necessary
- Proper usage of warehousing equipment
- Adherencing to health and safety procedures
- Forklift experience preferred but not essential
- Good team player

Our role involves a lot of walking. Good dexterity helps when packing. It’ll be busy. It’ll be hard work. You will need to do what’s needed quickly and accurately, paying close attention to detail and picking up instructions with ease.

**What support & training will I get?**

Warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as you will have full training. Our friendly team will provide you with a full training plan and quarterly reviews ongoing to ensure ongoing development. You will have access to training courses should it be required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar environment is valued but not required
- Strong hands-on mentality and detailed oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and good proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UK
