ITP Aero in Lincoln is looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join the team and promote our strong Environmental and Health and Safety culture.

The company has production centres in Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico, Malta and India with over 4,700 employees.

**The role**

The role is full-time permanent, 37 hours per week and will require working at our Lincoln and Hucknall sites with occasional visits to Whetstone in Leicester and Rugby. A Hybrid Working option to work one day from home will also be offered.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Preparing and reviewing documentation to support the business in maintaining up to date procedures to demonstrate control of processes.
- Supporting the creation of risk assessments.
- Developing and maintaining the internal EHS dashboards to a consistently high standard.
- Delivering the implementation of the annual EHS plan aligned to the site maturity Heat Map.
- Support our business in maintaining records relating to risk and EHS controls
- Supporting our business in maintaining the SMS and external certifications.
- Leading the investigation of, coordination and reporting of EHS events.
- Organising & Developing EHS training and working with our teams to ensure compliance with mandatory EHS training requirements specific to job roles.
- Management of EHS events and supporting evidence to ITP’s incident management system.
- Monitor the factory for compliance to company safety procedures
- Coordinate Occupational Health and Hygiene information
- Taking ownership of the environmental systems, collating and reporting key data to support the sites environmental accreditation and Race to Zero ambition.

**Essential requirements**:

- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Have a proven track record in providing EHS advice and maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Proven track record of influencing others and influencing cultural change
- The ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- Ability to work and integrate with other teams
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Typically 4-6 years HSE experience
- Competent in computer programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel across the UK

**Desirable requirements**:

- Previous experience in a chemical or process industries manufacturing plant would be an advantage
- Previous experience of contractor management
- NVQ Level 5 in a safety related field/NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent

**Qualifications**
- NVQ Level 3 in a safety related field/NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
