Whilst supplying Jewellery & Watch Brands to major multiple retailers, they focus on maintaining strong brand integrity, whilst promoting values of integrity, collaboration, enjoyment and honesty.
**The Role**:
As a **Commercial Director,**you will work in close collaboration with the Company Directors, taking responsibility for driving the business and increasing its revenue, providing leadership and vision for all commercial activities across the wholemarket.
Your responsibilities will include:
**Growth and Sales**:

- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth to lead the business to the next level of growth
- Keep tight management of margins, especially given the retail focus along with full P&L responsibility and management of revenue targets
- Manage and forecast stock requirements in line with sales budgets to sustainably achieve the annual sales targets and deliver the bottom line expectations
- Prepare plans, budgets and progress reports
- Resolve and manage difficult situations with customers and support customer meetings and visits at all levels regularly
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

**Operations**:

- Oversee team organisation, practices and processes to provide maximum efficiency at different stages of scale, ensuring the critical pathway is adhered to at all times
- Produce business specification documents, identify gaps and risks, and resolve issues

**People**:

- Mentor, coach and develop goals, objectives and priorities and assign to the team
- Promote succession planning within the business

**Marketing**:

- Work with the marketing team to deliver a marketing and communications plan to deliver on business objectives and identify and select opportunities for participation in events, exhibitions, and collaborations with third parties in the UK and the US.

**About You**:

- Successful track record in a senior commercial or related business development role, with international experience
- A passion for data and data-driven best practice decision making along with knowledge of sales principles and industry trends
- Strong communicator and networker experience managing and developing relationships with customers/key stakeholders
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with previous success leading teams across different regions
- A make-things happen attitude, confident with introducing change and taking people on that journey with relative ease
- Strategic and considerate thinker who can develop long-term plans and goals while being able to execute on short-term objectives
- Collaborative leadership skills
- Resourcefulness and ability to get creative with what you have available to you, and happy to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
